Chilika is the queen of Natural scenery of Odisha.
Everyone knows about the chilika lake because it is the queen of natural scenery and it is called as swiss -lake in the continent. In India chilika is the biggest inland lake and the heart of coastal odisha. Chilika is a brackish water lagoon spread over ganjam, puri, khurda district of odisha and flow into the Bay of Bengal. Chilika lake is spread over 1,100 sq.km.
In winter season many migratory birds come to these places and it is the home of aquatic fauna. The migratory birds came from another place to chilika for their winter sojourn in the water. The colorful birds make the beautiful sound and try to find the space for their new homes. Sunrise and Sunset is the most memorable beauty in the chilika lake.
Boating and fishing facility is available in the chilika lake. Thousand's of fisherman survive their livelihood through fishing.
There are so many beautiful place like Kalijai Temple, Satapada. Life Style Of Odisha People
Odisha is a rural area in which all types of people are living. The people of odisha are always believe in culture and tradition. Odisha peoples believe too much to Lord Jagganath culture, Buddhism culture, Vaishnav culture and the Sivayat culture.
The people of odisha always speak the odia language which is our Mother tongue language. In odisha the official language is odia and now a days the educated people use the English language for their official work. There are so many tribal languages which is spoken by the tribal people of kandhamala, malakangiri. The people of odisha love to live with the entire family with lots of fun.
In village you can find a large number of peoples are living of different caste like Brahmins, Karan, Khandayat, Khastriya and so many caste like carpenters, milkman, washerman etc. On village if any problems come then all people combine together to solve the problems.
In odisha so many paddy fields and vegetables field are there. Villages always give the peace. When the modern people comes from the metro place to the village they feel so relax. In odisha you can find the delicious foods like rice, dalma, chutney, vegetables fry, vegetables curry, and so many items. Peoples of odisha love to eat Pakhala bhat in all seasons with different chutney or vegetables fry,after eating the pakhala bhata they go to work for the long time and the farmers take the rice to the paddy field to eat there.
On the occasions or festivals every where you find the delicious sweets and cake. In village you find the women made the food items in earthen pot . On jagannath temple the mahaprasad also made on the earthen pots in steaming process.In the entire world the kitchen of puri temple is the world largest. Now a days many odia resturant are opening in several areas to give the actual tradition food to the peoples.
The traditional dress of odia peoples are dhoti and saree. On any festival the women's wear the silk saree, new cotton saree or bomkai saree ,girls love to wear salwar kameez to go college or tution. Village people love to wear the lungi and gamucha. In odisha Pahala rasogollas is too much famous and the best bada ,chenapoda of Dhenkanal, and the delicious aloodum of Cuttack. If you have any trip to odisha then don't miss the pahala rasogolla or any village place.

Patora dam Nuapada - A must visit place in Odisha
Patara Dam is one of the famous location in Nuapada. We suggest this as a must visit place in Odisha. Tourism department should give this a boost by promoting to tourists.
This Dam is having a natural view and a nice spot to visit a day with your friend and family.
This Place is 17 Kilometer from Nuapada and having number of temples and park to see. Rajiv Udyan and view of big Hanuman is mind blowing.
Famous temple Nrusinghnath is not very far from this place. This is only 40 KMs, which can be covered in a single day of visit. If you have more time to spend you can also plan to see Kharadhus Water fall where water falls from a height of 50 metres. This is little more far and located at 100 KMs distance from Nuapada. This places should be displayed and added in tourism map of odisha.
