Ansupa Lake - Odisha's Freshwater Lake

Ansupa Lake is one of best freshwater lake available in india. Odisha Tourism department recently develope this lake. This is present on the left bank of orissa's largest river Mahanadi. 

This lake is size of a Horse's Shoe and covered around 141 hectares of area. This is not big enough like salt water lake Chilika but never less than a beautiful place to spend a day with your family and friends. Slowly this place is attraction people around all part of country and counted in tourist places in orissa.

Bhubaneswar Airport is around 80 KMs from this lake, but you can book a cab easily from any of the travel website online before visiting here. Most of the buses are also passing through this route from Cuttack to Narsinghpur thru Athagarh which is 10 KM from this beauty.

Most Groups visit here in New Year and arrange picnic party with friends and family. Odisha Tourism also planning to develop more and more facilities here which can enhance this place and foot count of visit will increase in future.
