The sari is
one of the world’s oldest cloth or women garment and perhaps the only surviving
unstitched women garment. Mostly saris are very much used in south Asian
countries like India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka etc. In these countries
women like to wear saris from ancient age. In Hindu mythological reports saris
are also worn by Hindu Goddesses. So the saris are very old garments those are
used over thousands of years by women in India and in some other south Asian
countries.

are made with cotton and silk the art of weaving it into fabric came to India
