Men and women clothing in India

Clothing in India varies from region to region depending on the ethnicity, geographical location, climate of that are and cultural and traditions of the people of that area. Historically, men and women clothing are different from each other. According to history it has evolved from simple Langotas, and loincloths to cover the body.  To elaborate costumes not only used in daily wear but also for important festivals and special occasions and as well as rituals and dance performances. In some urban areas of India, western clothing is common and uniformly worn by people of all generation. India also has a great diversity in terms of weaves, fibers, colors and material of clothing. Color codes are followed in clothing based on the religion and ritual concerned.


Traditional clothing of women in india are:

    Sari: A sari is a traditional female garment in the Indian subcontinent. The sari is a strip of unstitched cloth, ranging from four to nine meters in length that is draped over the body in various styles which gives very beautiful design to it.

   Ghagra Choli or lehenga choli : A Ghagra Choli or a Lehenga Choli is the traditional clothing of women in Rajasthan and Gujarat. In Punjabis also women wear them and they are used in some of their folk dances.

    Mundum Neriyathum: Mundum Neriyathum is the oldest type or ancient form of the sari which covered only the lower part of the body, this is a traditional dress of women in Kerala, South India.

Traditional clothing of men in India are:

Dhoti: A dhoti is traditional cloth of India. It is four to six feet long white or color strip of cotton. Basically men in villages like to wear dhoti very much. Other traditional men wears of India are Panche or Lungi and Sherwani.

Summer Season over view

Summer Season is a season falling between spring and autumn. This is a very hot season of year. In this season the temperature reached to maximum. So everywhere people feel very hot weather throughout the summer season. 
            
In the summer season, the days are very long and the nights are shortest, with day-length decreasing as the season progresses after the solstice. The date of the beginning of summer varies according to climate of the earth, but when it is summer in the Northern Hemisphere it is winter in the Southern Hemisphere, and vice versa.
                    
If we consider on weather of summer season then traditionally it’s associated with hot or warm weather. In this summer season temperature increases to maximum extent. In the Mediterranean regions, people face very dry weather during this summer season, while in other places like in Eastern Asia it is associated with rainy weather because of the Monsoon.

In most of the countries during summer season people face many difficulties. Especially in countries like India and others where population is very vast, in these countries during summer season people face may difficulties. Due to the temperature these people can’t able to work properly which affects their financial condition.  So this season creates many difficulties for these peoples.  
             
In India summer season starts from March and ends at June, during these months the summer season is the hottest time in most of the parts of India. For a tropical country this a very hectic season, summer scorches almost all the parts of India with sweltering heat. Hot winds and scorching sun are the two most inseparable constituents of Indian summer.      

During this summer season Light cotton clothes are more preferred by people of India.  

So summer is not advisable to the tourists to visit the country because during the month the temperature crosses even 45 degrees in India. So it’s not good of visit.
