Kolkata has been graded as India’s top city to reside
in the Annual Survey of India’s City-Systems 2014 accomplished by Janaagraha
Centre for Citizenship & Democracy.
The cities were measured on four broad considerations:
urban development and design, urban competencies and resources, authorized and lawful
political depiction, and clearness, responsibility and contribution.
While international cities like London and New York, achieved
9.6 and 9.3 correspondingly on a level of 10, the finest city in India, Kolkata
had a keep count of just 4.0.
Indian cities are revoltingly under-arranged to carry a
high class of life that is maintainable in a long period, says the investigation.
Janaagraha identified “Excellence of Life to denote
both eminence of infrastructure and facilities, and superiority of nationality.
Therefore City-methods refer to reasons that compel both these measurements of
Quality of Life.”
Top 15 Indian Cities to live in are:
- Kolkata
- Thiruvananthapuram
- Bhopal
- Patna
- Delhi
- Raipur
- Surat
- Pune
- Mumbai
- Ahmedabad
- Jaipur
- Chennai
- Lucknow
- Kanpur
- Ranchi
