After introduction of Power loom weavers who made cotton sarees, silk saree, dress, materials raise their concern to respective state govt, because powerlooms directly cut job of handloom weavers in all states of India which produce best handloom shirt or other handloom textile like shawl, handloom bedsheets. By Introducing Powerloom the designs like ikat saree, khandua pata, pasapalli saree, bomkai saree, sambalpuri saree, kotpad saree, tribal shawl of the specific place going to disappear from the handloom map. Now all Weavers in Odisha concern about their food for the family. After a lot of intervention from last few days govt again started promoting it, but still a long way to go.
