Akshaya Tritiya is a holy day for hindus and jains. It is known as Akha -Teej. Akshaya Tritiya is one of the most auspicious occasion celebrated in India. Tritiya means the third day of vaishakh month after the new moon day. It is an important day for every hindus because on this day they start their new business, new shop and buy new land and home. On this day they worship to Lord Vishnu and Laxmi maa for their well sucess and prosperity.
People celebrate this ocassion by wearing new clothes like Traditional silk saree, cotton saree and the girls wear the new salwar suit , the men's wear the dhoti and kurta.. This year the Akshaya Tritiaya falls on 2nd may 2014. Akshaya Tritiya always gives the symbol of love, wealth and prosperity in family.
On this day people wants to buy some gold jwellery, silver jwellery. Some loves to buy new clothes by shop or through online shopping and give the gift to their lovable person.
